OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it. |

…2193) Supersedes #2178, #2180 and #2106. These can't be merged on their own: `@oclif/test` 5 has a peer dependency on `@oclif/core` 5, and all of the new majors require Node >=22. ## Changes - `@oclif/core` 4 → 5, `@oclif/test` 4 → 5 - `@oclif/plugin-help` 6 → 7, `@oclif/plugin-autocomplete` 3 → 4, `@oclif/plugin-update` 4 → 5, `@oclif/plugin-warn-if-update-available` 3 → 4 - `engines.node` raised from `>=20.7.0` to `>=22.0.0` (also in `CONTRIBUTING.md`) - Node runtime bundled in the tarballs and installers (`oclif.update.node.version`) bumped from 20.19.3 to 22.23.4 - Node 20 dropped from the `npm-resolvable` CI matrix - `release-s3` job now pins Node 22 (it previously ran `oclif promote` on the runner's preinstalled Node) - Dev container image moved from `typescript-node:1-20-bullseye` to `1-22-bullseye` ## Compatibility According to the upstream changelogs, the only breaking change in each of these major releases is the bump of the Node engine to >=22; there are no API changes. Node 20 reached its end of life in April 2026, so this is not treated as a breaking change for the CLI. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: martin-helmich <2538958+martin-helmich@users.noreply.github.com>
