…ompress) Mirrors Moonlight DKVideoRenderer::updateRenderState and GLVideoRenderer::checkAndUpdateScale. checkAndInitialize was frozen at first frame size (frame_width_/height), leaving stale luma_layout/chroma_layout/software_slots and transform.uv. On 1080p->720p drop, updateSoftwareFrame copied 1920x1080 from 1280x720 source, leaving bottom 360 rows uninitialized (green YUV) and video appears shrunk. Touch via TouchMapping used new stream_width while renderer kept old uv. Fix: add updateFrameLayouts(), recordStaticCommands(), updateRenderState() that detects frame/screen size or format change, queue.waitIdle(), clears frame_mappings/current_mapping, releases/reallocates software slots, rebuilds layouts and static commands. drawLatest now calls updateRenderState after checkAndInitialize. Tested: cmake -B build/switch -G Ninja:exit0, cmake --build --target SwitchNOW.nro:exit0 (27463736 bytes).

Propagate software-slot allocation failure.
When allocation fails, recordStaticCommands clears software_slots_ and returns. checkAndInitialize still sets initialized_, while updateRenderState commits the resized dimensions before calling it. Unchanged frames then skip the allocation path, and updateSoftwareFrame cannot render with empty slots. Return a success status, avoid committing state on failure, or preserve a retry condition while software_slots_ is empty.

BeginLaunchSessionDialog polls every 5s for CloudMatch queue (status 0/1/6) but never called disableScreenDimming. Switch auto-sleep kicks queue. Mirrors StreamView onFocusGained disableScreenDimming(true). Enable dimming block after dialog open, clear on Cancel, on success close, and on error. StreamView re-enables on push.
stream_width() follows the dynamic encode size (e.g. 1080p -> 720p) while GFN keeps the remote desktop at the negotiated resolution. Mapping touches to the dynamic size compresses input toward top-left. Add negotiated_stream_width/height() returning settings_.width/height and use it in StreamView touch, SendNteClick and ReanchorRemotePointer. Overlay still shows dynamic size.
Add Minimize button to launch dialog; queue keeps polling while browsing. Header queue chip (hidden idle, number-only in queue, tap to restore). Minus+Plus restores a light live dialog (position ticks every poll). Queue notify threshold setting 5/10/20/50 in Settings Interface. Local testing, not for upstream PR.
Applet diff can't delete pre-existing remote text. Add tap-only Bksp/Del/Left/Right shortcut buttons sending strokes directly. Local testing.

Keep the Queue chip visible while the queue is minimized.
A user can minimize before the first queue position is available. qpos is then -1, so queue remains empty and the status key does not change. The Queue chip stays hidden even though the notification tells the user to tap it.
Include IsQueueMinimized() in the status state. Show a preparing marker until qpos becomes positive.

Capture the launch state before HideMiniPill() resets it.
HideMiniPill() clears g_minimizedQueueState. The later check at Line 220 therefore always fails. The restored Cancel action does not call StopSession, so the remote session can continue after the user cancels it.

Clear restore pointers when the dialog closes through cancellation.
setCancelable(true) makes BACK call dismiss() without either button callback. Dismissal frees the dialog and its labels, but g_restoreStage and g_restoreDetail keep their addresses. The polling callback can then call RefreshRestoreLabels() and dereference dangling pointers.
Disable implicit cancellation or clear the pointers in the dismissal path.

Move all queue-state writes to the UI synchronization block.
These lines run on the brls::async worker. TopBarFrame::draw, GetCurrentQueuePosition(), and restore rendering read the same non-atomic integers and strings on the UI thread. Concurrent access causes undefined behavior and can corrupt std::string.
Move these assignments into the brls::sync lambda at Line 650, or protect all reads and writes with one mutex.

I've opened #35 as an integrated replacement on top of the now-merged #34. It retains all five commits from this PR, including dynamic resizing, queue minimization/reminders, negotiated touch coordinates, and the direct editing keys. This environment could not push to the fork, so I used the maintainer-requested replacement-PR route. The follow-up fixes allocation-failure recovery and adapts resizing to #34's GPU fences and retained frame storage. It also fixes the minimized queue's lost cancellation, dangling restore pointers, cross-thread UI writes, and hidden pre-position queue chip. Cancellation now takes effect before the dialog transition, and overlapping launches/account changes are guarded. All 100 host checks pass normally and under ASan/UBSan, and the full Switch NRO builds. The renderer tests exercise the actual implementation with injected allocation failures and simulated GPU completion; live Switch resize/UI testing is still required. I have not merged or closed either PR. |
