Cannot use API in website

Am I doing something incorrectly here?

I have been able to making API calls in the browser with no issue, but I have tried with jQuery ajax calls as well as angular $http requests but still get:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://git-awards.com/api/v0/users?_=1494946344873. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource

Am I missing something in the requests? Thanks

pull request #149 should fix this issue, depending on the desired "publicity" (for lack of a better word) the origin can be changed to * to allow for all sites making calls to the API.
