RISE is a collaborative, industry-led initiative under the Linux Foundation that accelerates open-source software development for the RISC-V architecture.
This working group primarily focuses on GCC and LLVM, but may include specific items from binutils, Go, or other compilers. Our objectives are to:
- Help collaboration across companies to avoid duplication of work
- Accelerate the compilers and toolchains on RISC-V
- Communicate on the readiness of the respective ecosystems
Work is tracked on our project board.
- File an issue to propose work, report a gap, or raise a question
