I posted an issue earlier and since the changes are minimal I've gone ahead and submitted this pull request in hopes of closing issue #7 . I tested it locally and simply commenting out the
as.matrixlines doesn't alter the function of the package at all and saves massive amounts of memory and time for medium to large single cell datasets.Best,
