[Bug] Wrong inputs when using (a bootleg) wii pro controller #207

Description

Before you continue

  • I'm on the latest release of WiiCompiled.
  • I searched the existing issues and nobody has reported this yet.
  • The problem does NOT also happen on Dolphin or a real Wii (if it does, it's a game/mod issue, not a WiiCompiled issue).

WiiCompiled version

0.2.31

What kind of bug is it?

Input / controllers

What happens?

Buttons are in the wrong place, for example A works as B, B as A, Y works as X and X as Y, and the d-pad its just a mess, UP works fine, LEFT is down, DOWN is right and RIGHT is left. Also, it detects the shoulder buttons but not the left and right triggers and instead, the - and + buttons work as the triggers.
I thought that the issue is my bootleg controller but it always worked on dolphin so i don't really know what is the problem. And it wont let me change / map the buttons to any different actions, even if i select the gamecube, wii classic or dualshock preset.

I'm using linux (ChrisMack32 fork) but this also happens on windows. Sorry for the probably bad english and sorry if the video quality is bad.

What were you doing? / How to reproduce

  1. Connect wii mote.
  2. Launch wiicompiled
  3. Buttons are swapped with no way to map them to another action.
  4. Also happens if wiicompiled is launched before connecting the game pad.
