Fix connection getting "stuck" when connecting over Bluetooth. - #108
Summary
On each FROMNUM notification, the BLE stream read as many FROMRADIO packets as FROMNUM had increased by. Not every FromRadio packet increments FROMNUM, so packets were left queued on the radio and were only delivered after a later event notification, typically when the client sent something.
Read FROMRADIO until it is empty instead, subscribe before the initial read so no notification is missed, and also poll every 30 seconds for packets that are never announced. Use write_all when forwarding packets so a full duplex buffer cannot truncate them.

The BLE handler now drains radio packets until EOF and writes each packet’s data completely. The BLE stream subscribes before draining, then drains after notifications and nonempty user writes. The read_fromnum method was removed, and notification and adapter-event streams now return 'static streams.
Changes: BLE stream handling
Layer / File(s)
Summary
BLE radio stream draining src/connections/ble_handler.rs
BleHandler::drain_from_radio writes each packet’s data completely until EOF and propagates read and write errors. The change removes read_fromnum and updates the notification and adapter-event stream lifetimes. Tests cover multiple packets, partial writes, and leaving a packet after EOF unread.
BLE notification and write integration src/utils_internal.rs
The stream subscribes to notifications and adapter events before its initial drain. It drains after the initial user write, each notification, and each nonempty user write. Notification EOF returns InternalStreamError::Eof.
Some Bluetooth packets may remain undelivered until another client write or notification. Restore an independent drain trigger before merging.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
All reviewed changes relate to the #101 Bluetooth delivery path. src/utils_internal.rs changes the BLE stream task. It subscribes before the initial drain, replaces the FROMNUM-count loop with a drain-until-empty, drains after user writes, and removes the obsolete AsyncWriteExt import. src/connections/ble_handler.rs adds drain_from_radio, which uses write_all. It removes read_fromnum, which the new flow no longer calls. It changes notifications and adapter_events to return 'static streams, which the new mutable drain flow requires while a notification stream is held. These public declaration changes follow from the fix. No unrelated change is demonstrated. The removal of polling is a scope question for #101, and it is assessed under the linked issue check.
Full details: Linked Issues check
Explanation
Issue #101 requires all packets from the radio to be delivered as they arrive, without waiting for a later user event. At the reviewed head, src/utils_internal.rs subscribes to notifications and adapter events before the initial drain. Each FROMNUM notification calls drain_from_radio, which reads FROMRADIO until it returns empty. The loop also drains after each non-empty user write. src/connections/ble_handler.rsdrain_from_radio_impl writes each packet with write_all. These changes cover packets that FROMNUM announces. The change since the previous review removes the 30-second fallback polling. The PR description still says to poll every 30 seconds, and it says polling catches packets that are never announced. The code does not contain that polling. If the radio queues packets without a FROMNUM change, those packets stay queued until the next notification or user write. That is the symptom reported in #101. The repository does not show whether this case occurs. The claim is supported only by the PR description. The ble_handler.rs test coverage is also not re-verified in this review, because the diff was unavailable.
Resolution
Establish whether FROMRADIO can hold packets without a FROMNUM increase for this BLE device, for example by a test or device trace that shows a queued packet after a drain. If such packets exist, the reviewed head does not meet #101 for them, and the author must restore a fallback read or an equivalent mechanism. If they do not exist, update the PR description to remove the polling claim so it matches the code. Also confirm that the drain tests in ble_handler.rs still pass at the reviewed head.

A rabbit taps the radio light, Packets hop through streams all night. Each full write finds its way, EOF marks the end of play. I twitch my ears and cheer the flow! The BLE packets come and go.

Had a quick look
I need a bit more time to read other implementations of the same protocol, e.g. the Python implementation. This is a risky change, so it's better to be careful.
If the radio queues a packet without a FROMNUM notification, the current loop has no read trigger after the immediate post-write drain. A packet that arrives after that drain remains pending until a later client write or FROMNUM notification. Restore the periodic fallback to bound this delay.

Review comment at @src/utils_internal.rs around lines 312 - 323:
Restore an independent periodic FROMRADIO drain trigger in the loop containing
notification_stream and server.read: add a timer branch that calls
ble_handler.drain_from_radio(&mut server). Keep the existing notification and
post-write drain paths so packets queued without a FROMNUM notification are
still read promptly.
