   This is a opensource typescript port of nixhub and devbox search https://github.com/mikeland73/devbox-search (hosted at nixsearch.com).

   Gonna leave this issue open since it's possible actual nixhub is open sourced as well.

   This is a request to open-source Nixhub. That is an organizational decision rather than a code change, so there's nothing to reproduce or estimate. As a maintainer noted above, an open-source TypeScript port of nixhub/devbox search exists at https://github.com/mikeland73/devbox-search (nixsearch.com). There is also the public search API (https://search.devbox.sh/v2/pkg?name=<pkg>, see #2828) and the third-party nixpkgs-multiverse. Together these cover most of the "integrate into Nix helpers" use case. Leaving this open for the maintainers to decide.
