SimpleMicroblogAPI

This is a simple anonymous microblogging API similar to Twitter / X used as a demonstration for handling API requests as part of the Intro to Svelte Workshop (2026) that I hosted for UTS Programmers' Society (18/09/2026).

Installation

# Optional: create a virtual environment
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate   # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt

Running the API

python main.py

The server starts in debug mode at http://localhost:5000.
