Leap 16 based MariaDB container image, published as ghcr.io/aardsoft/mariadb:latest (build via the shared aardsoft/ansible-data-utilities build-role-container workflow).
The entrypoint /usr/local/bin/start-mariadb runs mariadbd in the foreground. On a fresh data directory the datadir is initialized with mariadb-install-db. If a SQL script is mounted at /run/bootstrap/bootstrap.sql it is executed over the local socket after the server is ready (root is authenticated via the unix_socket plugin from inside the container). The bootstrap script is expected to be idempotent, as it runs on every container start — this is how the db-mariadb ansible role provisions the root password, databases, and users.
