I started as a full-stack developer - I especially loved to build web and mobile applications but the more I built, I realised that I was drawn to the aspects of security and designing the system architecture than building the app itself. Earlier on, I wasn't sure what I liked more -> networking and security or software development. Having earned CCNA1 and CCNA2 certifications, I thought why not do both?
This is what made me pivot my focus to building network security tools and make a shift towards cybersecurity and network security engineering.
- NIDS — Network intrusion detection system in Python with ML-based anomaly detection using Scapy and scikit-learn
- UniBridge — Secure multi-platform student-alumni network with AI-powered note connections, rate-limited embeddings API, and collaborative features
- Cisco CCNA1 — Introduction to Networks
- Cisco CCNA2 — Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials
- CS50 Python — Harvard University
- CS50x — Harvard University (in progress)
- Building and documenting a network security project arc — NIDS → threat analysis research
- Developing Linux skills through hands-on project work
- Final-year thesis: UniBridge — secure multi-platform academic collaboration platform
