This squashes the recent CI changes into a single commit: aligns test-map cache usage, generates maps on PR cache misses using test coverage, normalizes pytest-cov contexts and selected nodeids, and parallelizes mpl baseline generation and comparison. Note: jobs still occasionally terminate early near the end; possible GitHub Actions memory pressure remains and may need separate investigation.
