Markets can be found at waypoints with the "MARKETPLACE" trait.
Markets have three categories of goods:
imports
exports
exchange
Goods in the imports category get consumed and the price will rise over time.
Export goods get produced and the prices will go down over time.
The goods that are in the exchange category don't change the amount or price by themselves, only player interactions change the price there.
Goods should only be in exactly one category at a certain market at a time.
All goods can be bought and sold, the category does not matter. The profitability may vary though ;)
All goods traded at a market can be seen in the trade goods list. If you have a ship docked at the market you are able to buy, sell, and view prices.
