Description

This project is to setup a Apache webserver inside a Docker container. Then, create a web application to allow users to convert a .pdf file to .txt file using Java PDFBox library.

Installation & Setup

Docker

1. Install Docker on your desktop
2. Pull Ubuntu image (https://hub.docker.com/layers/183423165/keroukhoo/cat201-assignment1/1/images/sha256-5446e3d9ba4fecd145f02275985e3ce01fb413bc47a838ee2caea928577e83bb?context=repo)
3. Create a Ubuntu container
4. Open the container in Visual Studio Code (alternative)
5. Install Php, Java and Apache
6. Download all files
7. Copy all files to the container
8. Modify the file path
9. Start Apache service
10. Here you go

Without Docker

1. Download all files
2. Open in any IDE (prefer Phpstorm)
3. Modify the file path
4. Here you go
