…t that holds under load

A request that asks up to the cap of questions makes one round-trip per
question, which outlasts app.Test's default one-second timeout on a loaded
-race run; doPost and doCarrier now share doRequest's ten-second budget. The
one-deadline test's positive control had 150ms of headroom over a single call;
the delay and timeout are widened keeping three calls over the budget and one
well inside it.

X-Lerian-Ref: 0x1
Temporary replace of lib-commons/v7 by ../wt-libcommons-actor until the actor
package is released; otelzap moves to v0.20.0 because the newer otel/log the
lib-commons develop line selects no longer builds with v0.19.0.

X-Lerian-Ref: 0x1
Authorize stores a partner credential's raw bearer on the request context
(actor.ContextWithToken), so a service's outbound clients can relay it in
X-Lerian-Actor. On the receiving side, an application (M2M) caller that relays
an actor forwards it as actorToken in the authorize call; partner and user
callers ignore the header and send the bytes they always sent. The actor's
digest keys the decision cache and the token never reaches a span. Denials the
actor caused (actor_*) are answered 403 with codes AUT-1016..AUT-1019 naming
the partner as the cause.

…uest's behalf

integrations lists the Lerian services a product calls while serving a
request. Entries are validated (non-empty, unique, not the manifest's own
service, compared trimmed and case-insensitively), published with the full
manifest and the scope alone as the last member of both bodies and hashes,
omitted when empty, and carried trimmed by ScopeCatalogFor. The README
documents it together with the actor relay.

X-Lerian-Ref: 0x1
…er as absent

Fiber already strips surrounding whitespace from header values, so a blank X-Lerian-Actor reads as none; a test pins that a blank header leaves the authorize body unchanged. go.mod/go.sum follow lib-commons' x/net v0.60.0 bump.

X-Lerian-Ref: 0x1
Each integration names exactly one service, and Caradhras' scope catalog store refuses entries containing '*' (caradhras#263, CRDH-3120); without this a manifest validated here would be refused on publication.

X-Lerian-Ref: 0x1
…tion caller

An application caller that relays a partner in X-Lerian-Actor and is
authorized now leaves that actor on the request context, so the service's
outbound clients relay it again on the next hop. A partner caller is still
published as its own bearer, a user caller relays nothing, and a refused
request or the auth-disabled path publishes no actor.

X-Lerian-Ref: 0x1
The actor package lib-auth relays partner credentials with is released in
lib-commons v7.15.0-beta.3, so the module no longer points at a local
checkout.

feat(middleware): forward a partner's identity to downstream services and declare integrations
## [5.7.0-beta.1](v5.6.0...v5.7.0-beta.1) (2026-10-09)

### Features

* **declaration:** let a manifest name the services it calls on a request's behalf ([16de2db](16de2db))
* **middleware:** relay a partner as the actor of the requests it causes ([ad3c329](ad3c329))

### Bug Fixes

* **middleware:** read the relayed actor verbatim and pin a blank header as absent ([300c809](300c809))
* **declaration:** refuse a wildcard in integrations ([9df64d4](9df64d4)), closes [caradhras#263](LerianStudio/caradhras#263)
* **middleware:** republish the relayed actor of an authorized application caller ([bc28f17](bc28f17))
…the requested scope

An application relaying a partner (X-Lerian-Actor) sent the actor token
without the product and without the route's attributes. The access manager
then reads the partner as granted nothing in the product and skips it
(opt-in), so the partner's own rules never applied to a cascaded request.

When an actor is relayed, the question now carries what a partner calling
directly would send: the product, regardless of the M2M product flags, and
the attributes of the route that serves the request, one question per
instance set. A request without the header is byte-identical to before.

X-Lerian-Ref: 0x1
…and-scope

fix(middleware): ask the relayed actor's question in the product and the requested scope
## [5.7.0-beta.2](v5.7.0-beta.1...v5.7.0-beta.2) (2026-10-09)

### Bug Fixes

* **middleware:** ask the relayed actor's question in the product and the requested scope ([64c63b7](64c63b7))
build(deps): bump lib-commons to v7.15.0

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The changes add validated service integrations to declaration manifests and scope catalogs. They also add partner actor-token relay through authorization middleware, including scope questions, decision caching, request context, and actor-specific denial responses.

Changes

Manifest Integrations

Layer / File(s) Summary
Integration field and validation
auth/declaration/manifest.go, auth/declaration/manifest_validate.go, auth/declaration/integrations_test.go
Manifests accept an optional integrations list. Validation rejects blank entries, trimmed case-insensitive duplicates, the manifest’s own service, and wildcard names.
Integration publication and catalog
auth/declaration/manifest.go, auth/declaration/scope_catalog.go, auth/declaration/testdata/scope_catalog_vectors.json, auth/declaration/integrations_test.go, README.md
Full and scope-only manifests publish non-empty integrations and include them in canonical hashes. Scope catalogs include trimmed integration names. Tests and documentation describe the behavior.

Partner Actor Relay

Layer / File(s) Summary
Relay actor into authorization and scope questions
auth/middleware/actor.go, auth/middleware/middleware.go, auth/middleware/actor_scope_test.go, auth/middleware/fake_auth_server_test.go, auth/middleware/scope_*_test.go, go.mod
Eligible application callers forward a non-empty actor token into authorization. Relayed actors affect partner scope questions and product forwarding. The tests also update request timing and test configurations. The dependency manifest updates several direct and indirect versions.
Actor-specific decisions and context
auth/middleware/actor.go, auth/middleware/middleware.go, auth/middleware/decisioncache.go, auth/middleware/refusal.go, auth/middleware/actor_test.go, README.md, CHANGELOG.md
Successful authorization publishes the partner bearer or relayed actor to request context. Cache keys include the actor-token digest, traces omit the token, and actor denial reasons map to partner-specific 403 responses.

📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick win

Update the scope-only documentation to include integrations.

The earlier README text says ScopeOnly sends only service, version, scope, partners and levels. It also says a manifest with neither scope nor partners: true publishes nothing. Both statements are now wrong. scopeOnlyManifest includes integrations. hasScopeCatalog also returns true when integrations are non-empty. The new section at lines 1128-1154 contradicts these lines.

Proposed fix
-set `ScopeOnly`, which sends only `service`, `version`, `scope`, `partners` and
-the permissions' `levels` (see below):

Approved on 7293ddb (promotion develop -> main, v5.7.0).

  • Checks green on this head: Go tests (race) x2, GoSec, GolangCI-Lint, Socket x2; CodeRabbit completed and APPROVED on 7293ddb.
  • 0 unresolved review threads.
  • Parity: main...develop is ahead 16, behind 0, 19 files; develop tip == PR head; main has no commits missing from develop.
  • Carried PRs #224, #226, #227 are merged. go.mod pins lib-commons v7.15.0 stable.
  • Scope: approval rests on CI, per-PR reviews and threads; the diff was not read line by line.
  • Non-blocking follow-up (CodeRabbit, outside diff): README.md:1009-1010 ScopeOnly text does not mention integrations.

Merge with a merge commit (not squash), as in #222. A new push invalidates this approval.
