🇳🇱 Netherlands • 21 • building things across web, Apple platforms and developer tooling
I'm Jay, a developer from the Netherlands focused on building useful products, improving existing software and learning by shipping real things.
Right now I'm doing a Web Engineering internship at Talpa Technology, while also spending a lot of my own time on iOS development, open-source contributions and developer tooling.
I like projects where I can go from finding the problem → understanding the code → shipping the fix.
- 💻 Web Engineering intern @ Talpa Technology
- 📱 Building native experiences with Swift / SwiftUI
- 🛠️ Contributing fixes and tooling to open-source projects, including RustChain
- 🍎 Daily-driving macOS and working heavily in the Apple ecosystem
- 🤖 Interested in practical AI-assisted development and automation
- 🎵 Outside of code, I make music as jxyytf
A native iOS music-sharing app built around discovery, uploads, profiles, lyrics, playback and a modern SwiftUI experience.
I regularly dig into existing projects, reproduce bugs, write focused fixes and improve developer-facing tooling. A lot of my recent work has involved CLI behavior, SDKs, output contracts, regression testing and edge cases.
reproduce the issue

find the real cause
↓
make the smallest useful fix
↓
add regression coverage
↓
ship it
I care about fixes being reproducible, scoped and testable rather than just making the symptom disappear.
Open-source contributions around CLI behavior, SDKs, regression coverage and developer tooling.
Open-source and bounty contributions around developer tooling, QA and reproducible bug reports.
One of my public projects on GitHub.
I'm always interested in interesting software problems — especially web engineering, native Apple development, developer tooling, bug fixing, QA and open-source work.
If you've got something worth building or fixing, feel free to reach out.

code, music, and probably way too many side projects.
