๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Technical Details

Architecture

  • Frontend: Vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • API: Anthropic Claude API
  • Storage: Local Storage (browser-based)
  • Speech: Web Speech API
  • Hosting: GitHub Pages compatible

File Structure

โ”œโ”€โ”€ index.html # Main application
โ”œโ”€โ”€ style.css # Glass & steel styling
โ”œโ”€โ”€ script.js # Core application logic
โ”œโ”€โ”€ config.js # Configuration management

API Integration

The app uses Claude-3-Sonnet for generating intelligent interview responses:

  • Context-aware follow-up questions
  • Maintains conversation history
  • Adapts to different interview styles
  • Graceful fallback for API issues

๐Ÿ”’ Security & Privacy

Data Handling

  • API keys stored locally in browser
  • Session data kept in localStorage
  • No server-side data storage
  • Participants' responses processed through Claude API

Best Practices

  • Never commit API keys to version control
  • Use HTTPS in production
  • Regular API key rotation
  • Inform participants about AI usage

๐ŸŽจ Customization

Styling

Modify style.css to customize the glass and steel aesthetic:

  • Background gradients
  • Glassmorphism effects
  • Color schemes
  • Animation timings

Interview Templates

Add new templates in script.js:

{
    name: "Custom Interview Type",
    openingLine: "Your opening message...",
    systemPrompt: "Your system instructions..."
}
