Subject: [PATCH] Update technique definition on index page

Motivation

The technique definition on the index page does not contain process,
but probe twice. Additionally, the new category beam characteristic is missing.

Modification

Updated the list to contain 'experimental physcial process' and 'beam characteristic'.
