Please fix the README.md to not point to

The "on windows" section of the readme (https://github.com/nodejs/node-gyp#on-windows) says:

If the above steps didn't work for you, please visit Microsoft's Node.js Guidelines for Windows for additional tips.

However, that page is horrendously out of date, telling people to install a long-dead npm package, or to manually install things by installing Python 2.7 because 3.x is not supported. It's 2023. Python 2.7 is long dead now.

Can this section be updated to point to a still sensible article, or if none exists, be replaced with instructions that are known to work in 2023?

This is a long-standing issue that at least @cclauss tried to get fixed on the Microsoft side, however when I checked back I saw that the repo https://github.com/Microsoft/nodejs-guidelines itself was archived on Jul 15, 2025, so there will not be any updates to the obsolete page https://github.com/Microsoft/nodejs-guidelines/blob/master/windows-environment.md.

https://github.com/Microsoft/nodejs-guidelines/blob/master/windows-environment.md was last updated in August 2020, more than 5 years ago and so has been out of date for quite some while.
