I understand your limits, but many of my projects depend on this awesome service of yours -- I have the whole API setup and running, and if this shuts down, the future of my project is under threat :((

Since he is deprecating this project, I would suggest you try to send him an email, it's listed on his profile.

You could also use Google's NGRAM API though it is undocumented.
