Unable to cancel stalled upload

Steps to reproduce

1. Try uploading a file.
2. The upload stalls for any reason.
3. Try to cancel the upload.

Expected behaviour

The upload is canceled.

Actual behaviour

Clicking on cancel does nothing. The upload stays visible with whatever % has been completed forever. Due to this, it's impossible to re-upload the file.
