Handling of thumbs on this version is excellent

It's unfortunate that at least on some distros (like OpenSuse Tumbleweed) the changes they have made to GTK2.0 have resulted in a major problem with Rox-Filer's thumb handling.
Rox-filer on Tumbleweed tries to create thumbs but they end up as temp files in /tmp. Every other rox-filer function works well. Perhaps someone with a much better expertise in C can do for Rox-filer what you have one for Literocks! Here's hoping !!

I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that jun7's Rox-Filer's thumb handling is also excellent, at least as good as this repo's. Have you tried to compile https://github.com/jun7/rox-filer for Thumbleweed?

Yes I have and it's thumbnail creation on Opensuse Tumbleweed is completely broken. It's broken because of changes made by Opensuse to the gtk2.0 libraries particularly implementing glycin to accommodate Gnome. Rox-filer is still useful but without thumbnails. I now use Literocks in it's place.
