Add the ability to pause a recording

Problem Statement

During video recording, there are situations when you need to pause the recording. It would be great to have this option available.

Proposed Solution

While recording, allow the user to pause via a hotkey. It should also be visually clear that the recording is paused, so the user does not forget to resume it later.
