Copilot-CLI adds cursor shadow, black prompt background, and prevents vterm buffer scrolling in Emacs #3465

Description

@ehfsldgri-lgtm

Describe the bug

At 00:00, you can see the prompt background is too dark.
At 00:02, you can see the shadow.
At 00:16, you can see I cannot scroll up because Emacs reports it is the beginning of the buffer.

v1.mp4

Affected version

1.0.51

Steps to reproduce the behavior

install emacs, in emacs, install vterm
M-x vterm (on macOS, press option + x, then, type vterm, finally enter), will start vterm in emacs
run copilot-cli in vterm
execute /update multiple times to print more than one screen of text
M-x vterm-copy-mode, will enable copy mode, move cursor to top, but it cannot scroll the screen, old version is OK, codex is also OK.

Two months ago, copilot-cli didn't have these issues.
