•Closed This is yet another emergency security bug fix, reacting to fixes originating from outside Git for Windows. After v2.56.0(3), addressing the eMudhra CA vulnerability and the CVEs fixed by Git LFS v3.8.1, this Git for Windows version will ship with a fixed brotli library, addressing HTTP2shell (also known as CVE-2026-111497).
