Assignly is a custom client designed to interface with the COMSATS University Abbottabad student portal (sis.cuiatd.edu.pk). To function properly, the app requires you to provide your university portal credentials (Registration Number and Password).

Direct Connection: The app communicates directly with the university's portal. Your credentials and academic data (assignments, deadlines, attendance insights, and profile information) are never routed through, collected by, or stored on any intermediate third-party servers.

Secure Local Storage: To keep you logged in and improve your experience, your credentials are saved locally on your device. This data is protected using Android's
EncryptedSharedPreferences, which utilizes AES-256 encryption to ensure your password cannot be read by other applications. -
Data Processing: Any academic data displayed within the app is parsed directly from the portal's responses and kept in your device's temporary memory during your active session.

File Handling: When you upload or download assignment files, the transfer occurs directly between your device's local storage and the university portal.
Assignly respects your privacy and does not include any third-party tracking, analytics, or background crash-reporting software. The application does not collect background log data, track your app usage habits, or monetize your activity.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. Assignly uses cookies strictly to pass security verifications (such as CAPTCHA challenges) and maintain your active session with the university portal. These cookies are stored securely within the app's network client and are completely cleared when you explicitly log out of the application.
We value your trust in providing your credentials, which is why we enforce strict local encryption. All network requests made by the app are transmitted over secure HTTPS connections directly to the official portal. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed. We recommend protecting your device with a secure lock screen to maximize the safety of your encrypted data.
This Service interfaces directly with the COMSATS University portal. While the app facilitates access to your academic data and assignment submissions, it is an independent tool and not officially affiliated with the university administration. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of the university itself, as we have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of the official portal.
