Variables do not work correctly with Webthings gateway version 1.1.0

Since the update to Webthings version 1.1.0 the content of variables is not shown correctly anymore. See screenshot. There is no content shown anymore. Also in case a new variable is created it does not show any content. Is there any fix available for that issue?

I noticed this too. As a workaround I was able to bring the Macro Variables thing into the Things screen where the variables could be interrogated and reviewed.
