CLI fails with Node.js v22.20.0: "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'runtimeShorthand')"

Environment

• Apify CLI version: 1.1.1 (6d2b9fa)
• Node.js version: v22.20.0
• OS: Linux (Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS)
• Installation method: pnpm

Description

The Apify CLI fails to run actors when using Node.js v22.20.0, throwing a parsing error about undefined 'runtimeShorthand' property.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install Node.js v22.20.0
2. Install Apify CLI v1.1.1 via pnpm: pnpm install -g apify-cli
3. Try to run any actor: apify run --entrypoint platform/apify.js --input-file platform/input.json --purge

Expected Behavior

The actor should run successfully as it does with earlier Node.js versions.

Actual Behavior

Error: No Node.js detected! Please install Node.js >=20 (or higher) to be able to run Node.js Actors locally.
Error: The CLI encountered an unhandled argument parsing error!

Interesting, this is an error in an error...

Started from Error: No Node.js detected! Please install Node.js >=20 (or higher) to be able to run Node.js Actors locally., and I think analytics then broke forward. We'll get it fixed!

The issue is related to pnpm I guess.

Its likely an issue with the fact we assume we have a runtime detected but we don't, so its still a valid bug report and we'll take a look!

By the way, do you think you could share a reproduction repository or similar? 🙏 Mostly so we can validate the fix

strange but I couldn't reproduce the error. The same code I tried producing on different code space it didn't go through and the actor is mostly build after a build process. Maybe I lack specific skill to do this. If you could help me I shall try to do it. BTW it also fails on pushing the actor. Thanks

BTW these are the errors when I try to push the actor and now I have switched to npm to avoid the issue.
