Using the llc from an artifact with no override possibility (Override.toml does not work well with AOT, so that is not a feasible option) means yet another thing that needs to be shipped along with any AOT compiled code.
This is just to track that this is a problem, I don't have the time (or drive) to fix it at the moment.
