Net 10 upgrade

Thanks for this nice extension, considering it as a good alternative to passing polyglot.
I haven't found what was the plans regarding this on the home page, so asking here - what is the timeline to upgrade to Net 10?

Thanks! I'll share what my thoughts are, if anyone thinks this project should take a different approach, feel free to chime in. The projects themselves will build for .NET 8 and 10, instead of 8 only like they do now. Then for the VS Code extension that can only run on one runtime, we use .NET 8 for now, and make use of a <RollForward>LatestMajor</RollForward> policy in the Host's project file. Later this year, before the November 10th date, Verso will switch over to .NET 10.

So rollforward option implies that user would need to build extension himself, or it is something applied at runtime?

It's done at runtime, and means it'll use the highest compatible runtime installed on the machine.

So now that we're partway through this, what's the easiest way to get Verso to use .NET 10? It'd be nice to be able to use C# 14 features in my notebooks.
